We will soon be receiving a new lot or two of Brazilian coffee from “Sul Minas,” the southern part of Minas Gerais State.  Borogove’s Dismas Smith was invited by the Secretary of State to judge at the Coffee Competition in Lavras, Minas Gerais.  Dismas spent the last week of October tasting and evaluating numerous lots of coffee from the state, as well as visiting several small coffee farms.  A number of the coffees that he selected are being shipped and should arrive in a few weeks.
